From the images, it appears the HDD slots on the multifunctional racks are the same slots as the ones the extra cooling fan slots are meant to occupy.  Are there any plans for a future case design that allows for both options, where you can have both heavy storage and extra cooling for overclocking?

You can mix and match you can for example use two fans and two hdd

So far, you will have to choose between fans and/or storage. Additional cooling with fans is only requested for people who plan to overclock or use graphic card with a TDP higher than 250-270 W. As most of users only want to enjoy their chassis in its full passive way, we had to make compromises by offering the possibility to overclock your system.
